This Privacy Policy explains what information Kushti Association ("we", "us", "the Association") collects through this website, why, and how it is handled.

We collect information only when you choose to provide it, through the following forms on this website:
- Contact form — your name, email, phone number and message.
- Membership application — your name, mobile and WhatsApp number, email, address, a photo, and an identity document used to verify your application. Identity documents are stored privately and are never displayed publicly or shared, and are used solely for verification.
- Event registration — similar identity details, along with akhara/guru information, weight category, an emergency contact, and any medical notes you choose to share, used to administer the event safely.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to enquiries, process membership applications, administer event registrations, and verify identity where required. If your membership application is approved, your name, photo and city are shown on our public Verified Members directory; nothing else from your application is made public.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function: a session cookie for the admin panel, and a security cookie that protects forms from cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party tracking script runs on this website.
Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising or online payment service on this website. Information you submit is stored on our hosting provider's servers and is accessible only to authorised association administrators.
Data retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected — for example, to maintain the membership or event record it relates to — and you may ask us to review or delete it at any time using the contact details below.
